Top 5 Brisbane Day Trips

Are you planning your Brisbane holiday? If so, you’re certainly in for a great time! The city itself presents so many things to do – for people of all ages – it’s often difficult to decide what to do. I have, however, met guests who are not interested in the city, and prefer to see the sights beyond the CBD. If you’re one such person, maybe a day trip is in order. In light of the latest National Visitor Survey, which stated that Brisbane day trip visitors rose from 11 million to 13 million in 2015, I thought I’d compile my top 5 suggestions for a Brisbane Day Trip.

Another highlight of this destination is the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk, which offers surreal views of the Pacific Ocean from high up in the trees. Samford is less than a half hour drive from Bridgewater Terraces and it offers a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. When you’re visiting Samford, you can also continue driving to the nearby Mt. Nebo which will be a great adventure. Mt. Nebo presents wonderful rainforests where you can enjoy a picnic with your family or trek around for joy. A large number of chalet-styled cafes in the region offer great refreshments as well. I’ve been to Mt. Nebo several times and I simply can’t get enough of the place! Make sure to add the Samford/Mt. Nebo day trip to your list of things to do in Brisbane.
